BRIGHTON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing some of the rarest muscle cars, Corvettes, Ferraris, and exotic concept cars under one roof, now’s your chance – and it’s all for a good cause.

Ken Lingenfelter, owner of one of the world’s most valuable private car collections, is popping the hood and letting the public take a peek under the paint on Saturday, May 3rd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 7819 Lochlin Drive in Brighton.

His famous Lingenfelter Collection – typically kept under wraps – will open its doors for a one-day charity event benefiting the American Cancer Society (ACS) with 100% of the proceeds going to the organization.

No tickets and no limits.

This isn’t your average car show – it’s a horsepower-packed fundraiser. While there’s no charge for entry, attendees are encouraged to make a donation at the door. Since launching the annual open house in 2016, Lingenfelter has raised more than $400,000 for cancer research and patient support in Michigan.

“The cars are a great attraction,” Lingenfelter told MLive before the 2024 Open House. “There are a lot of enthusiasts out there and it’s a lot of fun watching people react when they see my collection. We just want people to make a donation in any amount. Whatever their heart feels.”

More than a pit stop.

Along with admiring almost 175 jaw-dropping vehicles, guests can also grab a free colorectal cancer screening kit provided by Trinity Health Michigan.
