EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State University police arrested 19 people during an antisemitic rally on Thursday night. The protests called for MSU to divest from Israel. In addition, they protested the recent revocation of student visas for some international students.

The protestors gathered at the Hannah Administration building, but campus police did not confirm the number of students in the group arrested. Officials said they gave multiple verbal warnings to the protestors to leave the building but they refused. Officials said they all face misdemeanor trespassing charges.

The Hurriya Coalition organized the protest. This group has expressed pro-Palestinian sympathies since Hamas terrorists killed more than 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped many on Oct. 7, 2023. The group said the protest occurred  MSU President Kevin Guskiewicz, senior administration officials, and members of the Board of Trustees met with representatives from the coalition.
