PORT HURON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 66-year-old St. Clair County man is $1 million richer.

Ernest Rust said he is going on a river cruise through Europe after winning $1 million from a Mega Millions ticket. Rust said when when he checked the ticket on the Lottery’s app, he thought he might have read it wrong.

He bought the winning ticket at a Shell gas station in Baltimore and matched the five white balls during the Jan. 7 Mega Millions drawing.

Rust said after he returns from his European cruise, he will use the remainder of the money for his retirement.
