WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – President Donald Trump isn’t going to play ball with parents, educators, medical professionals, or anyone else who has targeted children and mutilated their genitals under the guise of “affirming care.”
The president issued the Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation executive order on Tuesday. It stops sex changes for teenagers under the age of 19. The order pushes back against those in the medical community who perform or advocate for such surgeries.

“Countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding,” the order said. “These vulnerable youths’ medical bills may rise throughout their lifetimes, as they are often trapped with lifelong medical complications, a losing war with their own bodies, and, tragically, sterilization.”
It doesn’t just stop there. Trump has ordered the head of each executive department or agency in his administration that oversees and provides grants to medical institutions, medical schools, and hospitals to “take appropriate steps to ensure that institutions receiving Federal research or education grants end the chemical and surgical mutilation of children.”
