SEBEWAING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A Huron County man has been found guilty after using an airboat to break ice around three fishermen in February.

Authorities say Tanner Carr of Sebewaing was found guilty of several charges, including assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.

Carr and the three other ice fishermen got involved in a heated exchange on a canal that flows into Saginaw Bay. Then, Carr used an airboat to break ice around three fishermen.

Two of the fishermen made it to safety; one fell through the ice into the water and was rescued.

Carr remains free on bond and will be sentenced in early 2025.
