GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A planned 8,500-seat stadium in downtown Grand Rapids that will be home to a yet-to-be-announced professional soccer team officially has a name: Amway Stadium.

The company is pledging a $33 million gift for the stadium.

The $175 million venue is part of a wave of investment planned for downtown Grand Rapids. Other plans include Acrisure Amphitheater and high-rise luxury housing pm a 7-acre site along U.S. 131

Construction on the stadium is slated to start early next year and be complete in early 2027.
