LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) — Before long, grabbing a hot pizza in Michigan will be as easy as getting a can of pop.
PizzaForno, a Canadian company specializing in automated pizzeria vending machines, announced plans to install 40 units across Michigan by 2026. Through a development agreement with Forno Brothers LLC, the company aims to place PizzaForno units in high-traffic locations such as Amazon distribution centers, gas stations, and college campuses.

Four PizzaForno machines are already operating in Flint, Troy, Caledonia, and Clarkston. The next phase of the rollout will include 10 additional units in 2025, with the rest expected to be installed by the following year.
Among the upcoming installations are two machines at Amazon’s distribution center in Grand Rapids, providing round-the-clock meal options for Amazon employees. PizzaForno units feature a digital screen interface and a mobile app, enabling customers to check availability, order, and reserve their pizza. Each machine can bake and serve up to 70 pizzas, with 12-inch pies priced between $10 and $13, as reported by MLive.
Company officials describe “rapid growth.”
Jason Lowder, Michigan’s master licensee for PizzaForno, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion.
“Our rapid growth is a testament to the quality and innovation we bring, and I’m excited to share that with our local communities,” Lowder said. “With strong ties to this region, I understand the importance of providing delicious and convenient food options right here at home.”
This is just the beginning.
PizzaForno is targeting locations where traditional food services are limited, especially in areas with a high density of late-shift workers or where 24-hour food access is in demand. The company’s strategy in Michigan is part of a larger plan to roll out 1,000 vending units nationwide by 2027.
