DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – In what was predicted to be a close race, Donald Trump has secured Michigan’s 15 electoral votes.
In the end, Trump didn’t need Michigan’s electoral votes to swing the election, but the victory is sweet all the same. Wisconsin put Trump over the 270 required electoral votes to win the election in the early morning hours on Wednesday. That came after Trump picked up powerhouse states like Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Trump won Michigan 49.7% to Vice President Kamala Harris’ 48.3%.
“If we take Michigan, we take the whole thing,” Trump told a crowd in Grand Rapids early on Tuesday. “I will fight for you,” he added during his acceptance speech on Wednesday morning around 2:15 a.m.
