LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Fast food giant Wendy’s is moving forward with plans to shut down low-performing restaurants globally while also adding a similar number of new locations.
Company officials said the “outdated” restaurants make far below the system average with average volume unit of approximately $1.1 million. It’s not clear whether any locations in Michigan will be impacted by the closure.

Wendy’s boasts roughly 243 locations in Michigan along with 7,166 locations in the U.S. and 1,156 internationally.
