LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan is on the radar of both presidential campaigns this week.

On Tuesday, Minnesota first lady Gwen Walz will headline the “Fighting for Reproductive Freedom” bus tour in Lansing. She will campaign on behalf of her husband, Gov. Tim Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris. Abortion has been a cornerstone of the Democratic party agenda during this election cycle.

The other side of the political aisle will make three stops in Michigan this week. GOP Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance will be in Traverse City on Wednesday. He will speak at the Northwestern Michigan Fair at 6:30 p.m. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump is slated to make two stops in Michigan on Friday. The first is in Walker (Kent County) at 2:00 p.m. and then Trump will host a town hall at Macomb Community College in Warren at 6:00 p.m.

Michigan is a battleground state and its 15 electoral votes are predicted to play a major role in the upcoming election.
