DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz is scheduled to make a first solo campaign trip to Michigan on Thursday and Friday.
The visit keeps reminding voters how battle ground Michigan and its 15 electoral votes could swing the presidential election. Walz’s visit comes after his wife, Gwen Walz, stopped by Grand Rapids last week. Vice President Kamala Harris spoke in front of a crowd in Detroit on Labor Day.

The Harris-Walz campaign has not released specifics of the visit yet. Walz’s visit is also noteworthy since it follows the first presidential debate on Tuesday between Harris and former President Donald Trump.
Trump, who made several stops in Michigan in August, has no Michigan events on his schedule currently.
