GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 22-year-old Grand Haven man has been sentenced to prison for a mass cyber theft of Meijer’s mPerks.

Officials said Nicholas Mui will spend to 5-20 years in prison for the systematic theft and sale of account access information tied to mPerks, a rewards program of Meijer.

Meijer customers and mPerks account holders had their accounts compromised, with login credentials sold online, and their accrued purchase points used fraudulently.
