SANDUSKY, Ohio (Michigan News Source) – Roller coaster enthusiasts hoping to take a ride on the Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point will have to wait until next summer.
In a social media post, the amusement park announced the manufacturer remains on site and crews are working on the ride vehicle.
Top Thrill 2 is a modified version to Top Thrill Dragster. It involves a 420-foot hill where riders are launched backwards and over an existing top hat launch hill at 120 mph.
Cedar Point announced earlier this year that the roller coaster would be shut down for mechanical modification.
