LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – As unemployment rises across the country, Michigan is feeling the impact.
Recent data reveals that for the second consecutive month, the state’s unemployment rate has exceeded the national average. According to the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, Michigan’s unemployment rate increased by 7.8% in July, compared to the national average increase of 5.2%.
