CHICAGO (Michigan News Source) – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is expected to speak on the final night at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday.
Whitmer is co-chair for the Harris-Walz campaign. After the Democratic party forced President Joe Biden from his reelection, some pundits speculated Whitmer may have been Harris’ vice president pick. Whitmer had pushed for that position when Biden ran in 2020.

In addition, Whitmer spoke with Planned Parenthood Action and Everytown, an anti-gun violence group, on Tuesday.
Thanks for having me @PPact and @Everytown. Our freedom to make our own damn decisions about our own damn bodies, and our freedom to stay safe in our communities, are at stake. @KamalaHarris and @TimWalz will fight for those rights, while Trump and Vance want to take them away. pic.twitter.com/YVH2droYn4
