LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer touted the newly signed state budget on X this week.
While Whitmer bragged about her “balanced” $82.5 billion budget, she failed to mention axing $300 million for school safety and mental health measures, along with robbing the public school teacher pension fund.

The new budget goes into effect on Oct. 1, 2024.
