BROOKLYN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – All the fun for the Firekeepers 400 at the Michigan International Speedway starts on Thursday, August 15. This Michigan NASCAR event runs from Thursday through Sunday in Brooklyn.

Thursday brings an infield concert with Dueling Pianos and Hot Dogs with Track President Joe Fowler. Friday adds more events, with the Fanzone opening at 12:00 p.m., followed by ARCA Menards Series practice at 1:30 p.m. and qualifying at 2:30 p.m. The NASCAR XFINITY Series practice is at 3:30 p.m., with qualifying at 4:00 p.m. The Henry Ford Health 200, which is an ARCA Menards Series, will take place at 6:00 p.m., with another infield concert at 7:30 p.m.

The Frontstretch on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio starts the day on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pat Patterson and Pete Pistone. A NASCAR XFINITY autograph session will be at 11:30 a.m. with a Jeremy Clements question and answer at 12:15 p.m. From 12:35 to 2:30 p.m., there is NASCAR CUP Series practice and qualifying The CABO WABO 250, an event in the NASCAR XFINITY SERIES, begins at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Family Tradition Band and Tim Dugger at 7:30 p.m. for the infield concert. The night will end with fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

All the excitement builds up to Sunday, as parking lots open at 7:00 a.m. and spectators can enter the Fanzone at 9:30 a.m. As the gates open at 10:00 a.m., Brad Keselowski will appear at 10:10 a.m., Zane Smith at 11:15 a.m., Erik Jones at 11:45 a.m., and Jeremy Clements at 12:15 p.m. The driver introductions take place at 2:05 p.m., and the race starts at 2:30 p.m.

This race will be the 106th race hosted by Michigan International Speedway in the Cup Series History.
