GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Former President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that Grand Rapids will host the third presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. However, the Harris campaign has only agreed to one debate on Sept. 10 in Philadelphia.

Trump’s post included specifics, stating the Grand Rapids debate would take place on NBC on Sept. 25 and would be moderated by Lester Holt. There’s a potential debate on Sept. 4 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but Harris has not agreed to that one either.

Regardless, Michigan and its 15 electoral votes are predicted to be a deciding factor in the November election and it shows in the schedule of both campaigns. Harris and running mate Gov. Tim Walz spent two days in Michigan last week, while JD Vance visited as well. He will return to Michigan on Wednesday.
