DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – The NFL has handed down punishment to the Detroit Lions and New York Giants for repeatedly fighting during joint practices this week.

More than a dozen scuffles over a two-day period of joint practices earned the Lions and Giants teams each a fine of $200,000.

The NFL reminded all teams in a memo last month that fighting and “unprofessional conduct” during joint practices would not be tolerated.
