DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate Gov. Tim Walz stopped by Wayne County on Wednesday. Harris became the Democratic nominee without a single person voting for her after her party ousted an ailing President Joe Biden last month.
Pro-Palestinian protestors at the rally shouted throughout Harris’ speech. Retiring U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” Thursday morning and said she thinks Harris handled herself well.

Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance visited Shelby Township on Wednesday as well. Michigan’s 15 electoral votes are expected to swing the November election.
