SAGINAW, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A lawsuit against the Saginaw Catholic Diocese has been resolved.

The case related to a former priest convicted of sex crimes was settled this week, but the amount of the settlement was not released.

Robert DeLand was arrested in 2018 after being accused of sexually assaulting two young men and a minor. He was sentenced to up to 15 years behind bars, but was paroled in 2021.
