HANCOCK, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Police officials in Hancock said the 80-year-old man injured in a “politically motivated” hit-and-run has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
Last Sunday, police responded to several incidents in which the driver of an ATV appeared to be targeting Trump and law enforcement supporters. The 80-year-old man was critically injured in a hit-and-run and taken to the hospital.

Police identified 22-year-old Joshua Kemppainen as the perpetrator of the attacks. He died at his residence of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Chief of Police Tami Sleeman expressed her appreciation in a press release to the community, local police agencies, and the media for their assistance.
