MACKINAC ISLAND, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Something sweet is in the air! Mackinac Island is holding a fudge naming contest for its annual Fudge Festival.
Those interested in naming a fudge have until Wednesday, July 31, at noon to submit their name suggestions at selected Mackinac Island fudge shops.

Fudge shops will create their own version of the chosen name. The winning entry will receive corresponding fudge from each participating shop.
The winner will be announced on Friday, Aug. 2. The 2024 Fudge Festival starts Aug. 23 and lasts through Aug. 25
