ALLEGAN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – NAIA National Champion and Allegan native Hannah Antkoviak ran in the Olympic Track and Field semi-finals on June 29 in Oregon. She made the 400-meter hurdles with a 56.32 time that advanced her to the semi-finals.
In the semi-final race, Antkoviak finished fifth in her heat with a time of 56.45 missing the final race. She ran with the last two record holders in Sydney McLauglin-Levrone (52.48) and Dalialah Muhammad (54.16) in the heat.

“I’m not going to lie, I almost had a heart attack running with those two. It was crazy,” said Antoviak after the race on the RunnerSpace.com. “I was running and I saw them in front of me. I’m not going to lie, I wish I could have run a little bit faster and stayed with them but God is good and He got me to this point. I am so grateful and that was such a cool experience and has been inspiring.”
Her time finished 18th overall ahead of nine other competitors from NCAA Division I programs or racing professionally. She came in ahead of runners from Ohio State, South Dakoa, Vanderbilt, Howard, Harvard and professional runners from Nike and AthleticsTX.
Antkoviak will be a senior at Olivet Nazarene University in 2024-25 and is a four-time NAIA National Champion.
