DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – J.B. Bickerstaff is the new head coach of the Detroit Pistons.

ESPN reports the 45-year-old has agreed to a five-year contract and was fired in May by the Cleveland Cavaliers after being eliminated from the playoffs by Boston.

Bickerstaff had a 170-and-159 record with Cleveland and replaced former Michigan coach John Beilein after he quit in the 2019-2020 season.
