DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Former President and GOP hopeful Donald Trump will visit Detroit on Saturday for a campaign roundtable.
Trump plans to listen to community members at 4 p.m. at the 180 Church in Detroit. This is his first visit in Michigan since a jury found Trump guilty of 34 felonies.

However, that conviction doesn’t appear to be stopping his momentum. A recent Michigan News Source Poll found Trump clinging to a slight lead over President Joe Biden in the Great Lakes state. Pollsters Steve Mitchell cited it will likely be a close race until the end and that the fate of the election could hang on Michigan’s 15 electoral votes.
In the meantime, a massive ‘Michigan MAGA Boat Parade’ from Lake St. Clair to Detroit’s Hart Plaza is planned for this Saturday as well. Matt Seely with the Michigan Conservative Coalition told The Steve Gruber Show on Tuesday that Trump’s recent conviction does not seem to be slowing him down.
“Right now things are going about as well as they can go for him in spite of all the lawfare that has been impeding his ability to campaign,” Seely said.
