DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer spent time in Detroit this week promoting the grand opening of the Michigan Central Station.
She spent time interviewing some people who came out to the event and posted those comments on social media. Whitmer wrote, “Detroiters have always believed in this city. We’re showing the world what the Motor City is made of.”

The opening of the building follows a six-year renovation by Ford Motor Co. Public tours of the restored Michigan Central Station started on Friday and will continue through June 16.
