Leaders of the firm said the antisemitic words targeted the firm’s senior partner Jordan Acker. He is Jewish and a member of the University of Michigan board of regents. Police are investigating.
Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued a somewhat generic statement, saying “Violence, vandalism, threats and intimidation are unacceptable, and what we saw… in Southfield is abhorrent. We must remain united in calling out hatred of any kind and continue working together toward peace in Michigan.”
