DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – United Auto Workers (UAW) Vice President Rich Boyer is no longer leading the union’s Stellantis department.
Boyer was removed last week at the request of UAW President Shawn Fain, reportedly due to Boyer’s refusal to implement staffing changes he had been directed to make.

The decision to move the Stellantis Department to the president’s office was made without consulting the International Executive Board, the union’s top leadership body. Despite his removal, Boyer continues to lead the parts suppliers division of the union.
The UAW declined to comment on the move concerning Stellantis, the company behind Jeep, Ram, Chrysler, Dodge, and Fiat brands. The union’s other two vice presidents, Mike Booth and Chuck Browning, oversee the General Motors and Ford departments.
