LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Michigan Supreme Court has sided with the Board of State Canvassers by ruling the group made the right decision by denying a minimum wage proposal from appearing on this year’s ballot.
The Board of Canvassers argued “Raise the Wage Michigan” misled voters when they changed the petition to increase the state’s minimum wage to $15/hour by 2027. It would also phase out tips in the state.
