GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A doctor from the Grand Rapids area will spend 30 days in the Kent County Jail for practicing without a license.
Husam Abed was convicted in March of six charges of unauthorized practice of a health profession.

Abed’s license was suspended May 23, 2022 and the state Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs says he treated another patient five days later. He will also have to pay a $2,000, and $1,000 in court costs along with other penalties.
