LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan law enforcement is making sure people are getting behind the wheel with safety in mind.
The “Click It or Ticket” seat belt enforcement campaign starts on Monday and will run through June 2nd.
The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning says Michigan State Police troopers, Sheriff’s deputies and and local police officers will participate.
Statistics show that 244 people killed in traffic crashes in 2022 were not wearing seat belts.
