MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – An Oakland County woman will spend between three and 10 years in prison for abandoning her children behind a wall near a dumpster at Lamphere High School.

Twenty-one-year-old Hannah Swegles pleaded guilty earlier this year to two counts each of child abandonment and second-degree child abuse in connection to the case. Police arrested Swegles last July after a driving instructor found the two children buckled into car seats behind the wall. At the time they were two-years-old and four-weeks-old.
