GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Nathan’s Famous and Meijer are teaming up to hold a hot dog eating contest on Saturday, May 11 after the West Michigan Whitecaps baseball game.

The event will be a qualifier for Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island.

Other qualifying events will be held in California, Cleveland, Connecticut, New York, and Washington, DC.
