FLINT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 27-year-old man faces 16 counts, including homicide, in the alleged shooting and murder of his 59-year-old father Timothy E. Kildee. He is the brother of U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee.

Timothy J. Kildee of Mount Morris will be arraigned soon on various charges, including homicide, carjacking, weapons violations, home invasion, and assault and battery. He is still being treated at Hurley Medical Center.

Officials believe the younger Kildee got into a fight with another family member early on Tuesday, then went to his father’s house and shot him. Later, police say Kildee crashed his vehicle after shooting his father and injured himself.
