WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – Michigan Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D) appeared on “Face the Nation” over the weekend and spoke about the Israel-Hamas war in light of Michigan’s Arab-American population.
Dingell’s colleague Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D), the only Palestinian member of Congress, has asked Democrats to vote “uncommitted” in Michigan’s Presidential Primary on Tuesday as a protest against President Joe Biden’s position on the Israel-Hamas war.

The Jewish population has also been a strong voting bloc for the Democratic Party, and the Biden adminisration’s response to the ongoing terror in Israel could impact those voting numbers as well. According to 2018 Detroit Jewish Population Study, 71,750 Jewish residents live in Michigan.
