DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Reliance Staffing near Detroit is being ordered to pay 70 nurses more than $181,000 in overtime wages and equal damages.
The U.S. Department of Labor found the firm misclassified workers as independent contractors instead of company employees.

The federal department filed a complaint against the company last September. Reliance Staffing is now closed, but will make the back wage payments through August 1st.
