DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Ford Motor Company has reached a tentative agreement with the United Auto Workers ending their strike with the automaker on day 41.

UAW President Shawn Fain said, “Record profits mean record contracts.” The UAW released some of the details of the tentative agreement with Ford which includes a 25% wage increase, starting wage will increase about 68% percent, and top wage will increase about 33%.

The union called on all workers at Ford to return to their jobs and said that will put pressure on GM and Stellantis to bargain.

The four year deal still has to be approved by the union workers.
