Dashcam video shows the 16-mile-per-hour chase taking place in about as many seconds.
“Some days being a police Officer is a great job. Other days can be a little Crappy [sic],” The New Buffalo Police Department wrote on its Facebook page.
New Buffalo police said officers captured the suspect “before things became messy.”
As you would expect, comments on social media did not disappoint. “Nice job on preventing what could’ve been a crappy situation,” wrote one commenter. Another chimed in, “That could’ve been a real s#%t show!” Although the banjo music in the video adds a nice twist, another resident suggested a new video release. “I want to hear the audio cause I would be laughing so hard.”
