LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Michigan State Police (MSP) are asking for your help—this time, to win a nationwide “Best Looking Cruiser” photo contest held by the American Association of State Troopers (AAST).

Michigan will be up against 44 other states that submitted entries, including the Kentucky State Police, who were last year’s winners.

MSP’s photo features a Chevy Tahoe and a Huey helicopter, which the agency says “showcases our commitment to serving Michiganders from both the roads and the sky.”

The contest winner will be featured on the cover of AAST’s “America’s Best Looking Cruisers 2024 Wall Calendar,” which will be sold to provide educational scholarships to dependents of member troopers. Rankings will be posted daily until the contest ends at the Association’s Facebook page. Voting is available through Survey Monkey.

“The contest began as a friendly competition between the state agencies,” the Association stated on its website, “and is proving to be a fun and engaging way to allow our state’s community [members] to support and interact with law enforcement in a positive manner.”
