LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The cost of filling up the gas tank is a little higher to start the week in Michigan.
AAA Michigan says prices have risen nine-cents from last week to $3.56. That price is down four-cents in the past month and $1.09 lower than last year.

The most expensive gas is in Ann Arbor at $3.62 while Marquette has the lowest average at $3.50.
A 15-gallon fill up costs an average of $53.
According to new data from the Energy Information Administration, gas demand increased slightly from 9.31 to 9.6 million b/d. Rising gas demand amid decreasing supply will likely push pump prices higher.
