LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Eight Michigan communities have received grants totaling $200,000 from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MDEC) for downtown improvement projects.
Grayling, Rogers City, Downtown Lansing, Blissfield, Howell, Evart, Adrian, and North End Detroit received the funds; all are part of the Michigan Mainstreet communities.

The Main Street Vibrancy Grant Program intends to provide grants of $25,000 each to certain Michigan Main Street communities. The goal is to help increase the economic vitalities of downtowns across the state.
