EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – With the way the 2023 season finished, Michigan State University is back to the Tom Izzo way of winning and making deep runs in the post season. Along with that swag, comes the recruits as Ohio three-star product Jesse McCulloch has committed to the Spartans for the 2024-25 season.

McCulloch, from Cleveland’s Lutheran East High school, says, “They made me feel like I was at home, it feels like a real family over there. It really just feels like home.”

He chose MSU over Alabama, Xavier, and Virginia Tech as the four finalists but also had offers from Big Ten programs Ohio State, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. He is ranked the 173rd prospect in the nation by 247sports and averaged 17.3 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists per game last year. He was named All-State and helped Lutheran East to the state title.

He joins four-star commitment Kur Teng from Massachusetts who committed earlier this month to the 2024 class.
