DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Tied at the end of the third quarter at 90, Indiana held off Detroit, 121-115, as the Pistons losing streak continued to 11 games. Nine players suited up for Detroit with five of their six top scorers missing. Isaiah Livers led the team with 18 points while Jalen Duren and Killian Hayes both had double-doubles. Duren posted 16 points and 11 rebounds while Hayes added 17 points and 13 assists.

“Killian has to play at that level and with that force every minute he can. That’s a hard thing for young players to understand, whether it is on the offensive or defensive end,” said Detroit head coach Dwane Casey. “Indiana also kicked our behind every which way on the glass. I talked to our bigs and told them if we’re going to play two bigs, we have to dominate the boards or at least play with more effort.
