MARQUETTE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The community of Marquette is looking to change the name of a long standing airport.
The Marquette County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on Tuesday to hear comments regarding renaming KI Sawyer International Airport.

The hearing will take place 3:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers in the Marquette County Courthouse.
Two names under consideration are the Upper Peninsula Michigan Regional Airport and Marquette Regional Airport.
The name change is part of a $20 million renovation project.
