DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Antoine Davis has put the University of Detroit Mercy on the map by being one of the best to play in NCAA Division I. On Thursday, February 23, UDM will retire Davis’ jersey on Senior Night for his career as a Titan.

It was the third straight week that Davis has been named the Horizon League Player of the Week and the sixth time this year. That ties him for second most in a season with Green Bay’s Keifer Sykes from the 2013-14 season.

For the week, Davis averaged 30.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 steals as the Titans took games from Oakland and IUPUI. He had 30 points in a big win over Oakland going 7-of-13 from the arc. He then added 31 points against IUPUI with a career-high six steals.

He leads the nation in scoring at 27.9 points per game and also broke two more school records. He now holds the single season record for three-pointers (140) and points (809) in a season surpassing Rashad Phillips from 2000-01. He now has 3,543 points and is just 124 points shy of the NCAA record set by Pete Maravich.

UDM has two more games left in the regular season before the Horizon League Championship Tournament.
