TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Traverse City Film Festival Committee is in hot water with the city, and officials are looking for accountability.

In 2021, the Traverse City Film Festival received an early contract extension from the city to make improvements to The Bijou. One of the projects included upgrades to the air filtration system to keep people safe during COVID-19.
The City Commission discovered the work was never done. One commissioner said the festival must be held accountable.
Traverse City Film Festival officials have not commented.
