IRONWOOD, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Copper Peak Ski Jump in Ironwood will be reopening after getting $20 million from the state for renovations.
The ski jump has been closed since 1994 when erosion problems and outside debt forced a closure that was planned for one year.

It is the largest ski jump in the Western Hemisphere at 469-feet. It will be open year-round.
