GREEN BAY, Wisc. (Michigan News Source) – It comes down to one game, which will be the biggest game of the year for the Detroit Lions. The NFL has decided that this game is one of the most important moving it to a primetime game on Sunday Night Football for NBC Sports. This will be the first primetime game of the season for Detroit and their first since week 2 of the 2021 season when they played on Monday Night Football at Lambeau Field.
To make the playoffs, the Lions need to win and the Seattle Seahawks need to loss. If this can happen, it will be the Lions first playoff appearance since 2016.

Head coach Dan Campbell said earlier this week, “Either we’re playing to get in or we’re playing to be the spoiler, and that’s it. So either way, we win.”
Another major highlight to the game will be Jamaal Williams as he faces his old team and has a chance to break 1,000 rushing yards. He needs just six yards for 1,000 yards for the first time since 2013 when Reggie Bush did it. If he can do that, he will become the sixth player in Lions history to reach 1,000 yards. He also can break a Barry Sanders record for rushing touchdowns in season. He currently has 15 and needs one to tie Sanders and two to break the record.
Williams said, “I’d just be grateful just to be in that category with Barry. He’s a legend so I’m just grateful for that opportunity to be able to be in there with somebody like that.”
Detroit kickoffs at 8:20 p.m. at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
