ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – It was a strong class signed for Jim Harbaugh in the early signing period with 30 players coming to Ann Arbor for the 2023 season.
Harbaugh says, “This is a great recruiting class and I say congratulations to all as it’s a total effort by all and it’s about choosing future Michigan Men who possess the qualities we aspire to have in the program and this class represents those qualities that we are looking for.”

Seven players will become Wolverines for Harbaugh after signing with Michigan through the transfer portal. Coming from other Big Ten programs are Indiana’s A.J. Barner (tight end) and Jack Tuttle (quarterbacker) and Nebraska’s Ernest Hausmann (linebacker). Transferring in from the Pac-12 are former Stanford players Myles Hinton (offensive lineman) and Drake Nugent (offensive lineman) along with Arizona State’s LaDarius Henderson (offensive lineman). Coming from Coastal Carolina is defensive edge Josaiah Stewart.
Along with that, 23 high school players chose to continue their career at Michigan. According to 247Sports, Michigan has the 16th ranked overall class for 2023 as nine four-star players have signed along with 14 three-star players.
Coming from Michigan are four-star players Cole Cabana (RB, Dexter), Amir Herring (OL, West Bloomfield) and three-star players Semaj Morgan (WR, West Bloomfield) and Adam Samaha (K, Ann Arbor).
Michigan is getting ready for their Fiesta Bowl game in the playoffs on December 31 against Texas Christian University.
